Meeting of the LJCC Governing Board
It is a custom in Judaism to pray for the release of captives. On Friday evenings, we will gather in the Hess Chapel to read the over 200 names we have of those being held since October 7, and offer a prayer for their release. All are welcome.
Join TBE’s Intentional Walking Village on the first Saturday of every month. Participants are invited to meet in the upper parking lot, and can join for all or part of the walk. 8:45- 9:30 – We will begin with a brief discussion of the week’s Parsha, followed by intentional walking. 9:30-10:30 – More exercise Questions? Join us at 6:30p for a community Havdalah, and for LJCC members with kiddos (ages 6-13) drop them off with our wonderful staff and head out for dinner afterward. Parents' night out is a fun-filled evening for children ages 6-13, complete with pizza and snacks, engaging games, creative crafts, and exciting activities all under the watchful eye of our experienced and caring staff. $10 per child. LJCC members only. We want to encourage community through this event, so consider organizing dinner as a group.
Parents deserve a night out too! PJ Library & NEMJDS are hosting a grown up version of Bubbie’s STEM Ktichen for parents with children ages 0 – 5 years old! Parents will learn about the science of drink mixology, create an art project, snack and socialize. No kids.
