A collaborative teen experience for our community's post-B'nai Mitzvah students.
Dan Gordon just returned from Israel and will be addressing us about his experiences. Dan Gordon was born in Los Angeles and raised partially in Kibbutz Ginnegar in the Valley of Jezeel. He has written the screenplays for over 20 feature length motion pictures including the Hurricane ( Denzel Washington ), Wyatt Earp ( Kevin Costner) and the upcoming Irena’s Vow which opens April 15.. he is the author of 10 novels and his plays have been performed on Broadway and in London’s West End. He served in the IDF from 1973- 2018. From 2006 - 2014 he was a Military Spokesman for the IDF, and from 2025-2018 he served as Documentary Officer of the Givati Infantry Brigade. Most recently he wrote and directed a four hour documentary in Israel and Gaza, on the massacre of October 7 for TBN which will air in May of this year.

It is a custom in Judaism to pray for the release of captives. On Friday evenings, we will gather in the Hess Chapel to read the over 200 names we have of those being held since October 7, and offer a prayer for their release. All are welcome.
