  • Prayer Gathering for the Release of Captives – TEE

    It is a custom in Judaism to pray for the release of captives. On Friday evenings, we will gather in the Hess Chapel to read the over 200 names we have of those being held since October 7, and offer a prayer for their release. All are welcome.

  • JCRC Workshop with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

    Know your workplace rights! This workshop, hosted by the Jewish Community Relations Council and Birmingham-branch EEOC will focus on discrimination in the workplace, including on the basis of religion. The EEOC will be leading the workshop and available to file complaints on-site. Registration coming soon. This event will be hybrid, but lunch will be provided for those attending in person.
