Join friends in a family community service project with CJFS and the LJCC. Inspire your child with youth speaker Ethan Hill (www.ethansheartbham.org), who serves the Birmingham homeless community through collection and distribution of items listed below. Help Ethan put survival kits together for the homeless. Want to donate to the cause? New Sleeping Bags (can be purchased from Academy Sports for 10.00) Baby wipes Bottled Water Deodorant (Men & Women) Canned meats/Meat Packets (I.e Vienna sausage, spam, chicken in cans with pop tops, tuna or chicken salad packets)

Vases for Hope is a creative, educational and supportive event for anyone who is coping with grief. We will create our vases to take home in memory of our loved-ones(s). A licensed social worker will facilitate the group in sharing experiences with grief and coping strategies.
