In her presentation, “The Mirror of Goodness,” Stanlee will address the rescue of Jews by non-Jews during the Holocaust. She will provide some general history on the Holocaust and will then address rescue within the historiography of the Holocaust. Who were the rescuers, what did they do, and why did they risk their lives and often the lives of their families to save Jews, many who were total strangers?
