How does Judaism confront suffering, injustice, and tragedy? Learn alongside members of the LJCC and Birmingham community in this conversational talk with Rabbi Friedman. While there is a specific monthly theme, Rabbi Friedman is open to any and all questions about Jews and Judaism. Rabbi Yossi Friedman is a Chabad rabbi and teacher. With over 25 years of experience, he is dedicated to fostering Jewish education and community engagement. A free, kosher lunch comes with registration.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of this beloved game. In this hands-on 3 part series, you'll learn the basics of gameplay, including the rules, the tiles, and the strategies that make Mahjong both challenging and exciting. No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and a sense of fun! You must be able to attend all classes: 5/5, 5/12, 5/19
