Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of this beloved game. In this hands-on 3 part series, you'll learn the basics of gameplay, including the rules, the tiles, and the strategies that make Mahjong both challenging and exciting. No experience necessary.   • “Ain’t No Back To A Merry-Go-Round” Screening

    JCRC is thrilled to be partnering with the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute as part of their summer film series on a screening of "Ain't No Back To A Merry-Go-Round," a documentary exploring a fascinating moment of solidarity between Howard University students and their Jewish neighbors. Date: Tuesday, September 9 Happy Hour: 5:00 p.m. at Sidewalk Cinemas – mingle and enjoy concessions and drinks Screening: 6:00 p.m., followed by opportunities to connect with community organizations highlighting their work to foster unity Tickets are free, but reservations are required.
