Join us for a special lunch and learn program with Sally Poolat, Leket Israel’s Regional Director of US Development. At this program, we’ll dive deep into the current situation in Israel and it’s impact on the life-saving work of Leket Israel.

Leket Israel, the National Food Bank and leading food rescue organization in Israel, is uniquely committed to redistributing surplus, nutritious food to all those in need across Israel.

In 2024 alone, Leket Israel provided over 2 million hot meals to people in need, rescued over 69 million pounds of agricultural produce, and fed over 400,000 people weekly!

Leket Israel has been a partner of the Birmingham Jewish Federation’s Israel World Jewry Bureau (IWJB) committee since 2006.

Please bring your own Kosher or Kosher-style lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
