Donate to Rebuild Israel

In November, at the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) General Assembly, JFNA formally closed the national Israel Emergency Campaign. In parallel, we have now completed the process of closing Birmingham’s Israel Emergency Campaign as well.

While the emergency phase has formally ended, we are now entering a new chapter focused on rebuilding Israel and helping communities recover, stabilize, and ultimately flourish after October 7 and two years of war. This work is already underway and includes restoring local economies and agriculture, supporting reservists and their families, expanding mental-health and trauma-healing services, and helping displaced families return home or rebuild anew.

As the Israel Emergency Campaign comes to a close, we are now turning our focus to the Rebuild Israel Fund. Donors who wish to make designated gifts where 100% of proceeds go directly to Israel are still be able to do so, with every dollar supporting long-term recovery and renewal.

These gifts will support the ongoing work of our Israel World Jewry Bureau, our Partnership2Gether relationship with our Israeli sister city of Rosh Ha’Ayin, and the leadership of our Israel Community Committee. Birmingham will remain personally, strategically, and meaningfully engaged in this next chapter.
