Preparing for College – Program for High School Seniors and Parents

April 18 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

As our high school seniors prepare for college, it is more important than ever to be prepared for the issues they may face as Jewish students. Since October 7th, Jewish students are experiencing an unprecedented wave of antisemitism. A survey of Jewish college students by the ADL reports that 73% have experienced or witnessed some form of antisemitism since the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. Prior to this school year, 70% of Jewish college students experienced at least some form of antisemitism throughout their entire college experience.

Parents and students are invited to join the BJF’s Jewish Community Relations Council for a special program to talk about the issues we are seeing on campus, what students may encounter and strategies and resources to utilize if they do.

Details forthcoming.
