Our next session of Magic City Mensches will take place on Sunday February 5^th, from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. This program will feature returning Magic City Mensch guest, Charles Woods, Education Director at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, and will focus on school integration. Charles is an amazing educator, and it is a privilege to have him speaking to our students on Birmingham’s civil rights history! As always, we’ll be tying in a discussion of Jewish ethics and values.

Please plan to meet at 1:30 p.m outside of Phillips Academy (2316 7th Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203). Phillips is located across the street from Jones Valley Teaching Farm, and next door to the YMCA Youth Center.
